Message to Thyatira & the American Church Part Two
The intent of this teaching isn’t to call into question an individual’s relationship with the Lord. We have multiple friends who are affiliated with Word of Faith and New Apostolic Reformation-type churches, where an apostle and a prophet govern the local church.
My heart is to expose a doctrine adhered to by many of these congregations that I feel will lead many down the broad road of destruction.
We can never compromise with bad doctrine for the sake of unity.
Ephesians 5:11: “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them”.
Galatians 1:8-9: “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed”.
1 John 4:1: “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world”.
Matthew 7:15: “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves”.
Matthew 24:24: “For false christ’s and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect”.
Romans 16:17: “Now I urge you, brothers, watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them”.
1 Timothy 4:1: “Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons”.
2 Timothy 4:3: “For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings”.
Titus 1:10-11: “For there are many rebellious people, mere talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision group. They must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole families by teaching things they ought not to teach, for the gain of dishonorable profit.”
Revelation 2:20 (NASB) But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and leads My bond-servants astray so that they commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
- You tolerate the woman Jezebel – Jezebel was a Phoenician princess who married King Ahab of Israel, becoming queen and aggressively promoting the worship of the pagan god Baal and the female deity Asherah.
- The Canaanites considered Baal to be the god of fertility and the lord of the earth in control of nature. He was also the god of storms and responsible for the life-giving rains. Some references to Baal called him “Lord of the Heavens” and “He Who Rides on Clouds.” Baal, in today’s terms, was the god of prosperity, mammon. We worship at the altar of Baal when we put material things before the Lord God Jehovah.
- Asherah was a major West Semitic goddess in the ancient Near East, revered as a mother goddess of fertility and the consort of the supreme god El. She was worshiped in Canaan, Syria, Phoenicia, and among the Philistines, and evidence suggests some ancient Israelites considered her a consort of Yahweh.
- Tolerating Jezebel in the context of the American church today describes our tolerating a view of the Gospel we find in the Word of Faith movement, where some see God as a means to material gain. The object of their faith is faith, and not Christ.
1 Timothy 6:6-11 (NASB) But godliness actually is a means of great gain when accompanied by contentment. 7 For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it, either. 8 If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. 9 But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 11 But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.
Philippians 3:17-19 (NKJV) Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. 18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.
Explain the Millennial Reign of Christ
The millennium reign of Christ is a future 1,000-year period described in Revelation 20 during which Jesus will reign on Earth. At the beginning of this reign, Satan will be bound, and Christ will rule from Jerusalem, ushering in an age of peace, righteousness, and justice. Believers will reign with Christ, and during this time, God’s promises to Israel and the world will be fulfilled.
Premillennial eschatology is a Christian belief that Jesus Christ will return to Earth to physically reign for a literal thousand-year period (the millennium) after a period of tribulation. In this view, Christ’s second coming occurs before the millennium, following which Satan will be defeated for a final time and the final judgment will take place.
Amillennialism is a Christian theological view that rejects a literal, future 1,000-year reign of Christ on Earth after his second coming. Instead, it interprets the “millennium” in Revelation 20 as a symbolic, extended period that represents the present church age, during which Christ reigns spiritually from heaven. According to this view, the second coming of Christ will be followed by a simultaneous resurrection of the saved and the wicked, the final judgment, and the eternal state.
Postmillennialism is a theological view that believes Christ’s second coming will occur after a golden age or “millennium” of Christian prosperity and peace on Earth. It is an optimistic view that the gospel’s influence will gradually triumph, leading to a world that is increasingly Christianized before Christ’s return. In this view, the kingdom of God is seen as expanding spiritually in the present age through the church.
Verses that challenge postmillennialism
- Matthew 24:12:“because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold”. This verse is seen as a contrast to postmillennialism, which expects a gradual improvement in the world’s spiritual condition.
- Luke 17:26-30:Jesus compares his coming to the days of Noah and Lot, a time of destruction, not a golden age.
- 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12:Paul speaks of a “rebellion” or “apostasy” that will happen before the Day of the Lord, and the rise of the “man of sin” who will deceive many.
- Daniel 7:21-22:This passage describes the “man of sin” persecuting and prevailing over the saints until the Second Coming, which contradicts the idea of a peaceful, Christian-dominated era.
- Revelation 19:This chapter depicts Christ returning to a world that is at war with him, a view that is the opposite of what postmillennialism teaches about Christ’s triumphant return to a largely converted world.
- Matthew 7:13-14:Jesus contrasts the “wide gate” that leads to destruction and is used by “many,” with the “narrow gate” that leads to life and is found by “few”. This is traditionally interpreted as a statement that true Christianity will always be a minority.
The Seven Mountain Mandate, which corresponds with postmillennialism, is a doctrine that holds that the Church must infiltrate and take over the seven mountains of societal influence: religion, family, education, government, media, arts & entertainment, and business, before Christ can return. They distort the idea of the Great Commission and place it into two categories.
This doctrine is based on a demonic misconception of the Kingdom of God. In the absence of God, the Holy Spirit reigning in our lives, we can in no way understand that the Kingdom of God is not of this world, not of the natural realm.
If our eyes are fixed on the temporal, on the carnal, we will never grasp the complexities of the Kingdom of God.
There are seven world kingdoms (seven mountains, seven pillars of influence), and he who can take those kingdoms (seven mountains, seven pillars) could take the harvest of nations.
The word mountain is used as a metaphor for something that you must take or climb.
He who occupies the tops of those mountains can shape the agendas that form nations.
The folks who support the Seven Mountain Mandate break the Gospel into two categories: preaching the Gospel and making disciples.
- Preach the Gospel, Win the Harvest. Go into all the world and preach the gospel – the primary focus is the harvest of souls.
- Teach the Nations, therefore making disciples. This false doctrine views this as a call to transform the nations by taking control of the seven mountains of influence. They consider making disciples as taking (conquering) the Seven Mountains of influence.
New Apostolic Reformation (NAR)
This is a controversial Christian movement and theological belief system, often associated with the far right, that advocates Christian dominance over all aspects of society (the “Seven Mountain Mandate”).
- Beliefs:It emphasizes modern-day apostles and prophets, direct revelation from Christ, spiritual warfare against perceived demonic forces, and a postmillennialist view that Christians can establish God’s Kingdom on Earth before the Second Coming.
- Political Influence:The movement has gained political influence in the U.S. and has connections to several Republican politicians and conservative activists.
- Bethel, Hillsong, the Word of Faith Movement, Campus Crusades, the Ramp, and many others follow this line of thought.
- Restoration of the “Governing Office” of the Apostle and the Prophet.
- CEO CEO-type church where the Apostle and the Prophet control the church.
- Proponents of the NAR have said that the church was dead, inept, and powerless until the restoration of the Governing Offices of the Apostle and the Prophet in the late 1990s.
- They teach that Jesus cannot return until the church, by way of restoration of the governing offices of the Apostle and Prophet, takes over the seven mountains of influence in the world.
- Their minds are still focused on the things of this world; they are governed by materialism and full of the spirit of mammon.
- Mike Bickle, Robert Morris, Todd Bentley, Paul Cain, and Chris Reed are all recent ministers associated with the NAR who have had serious moral failings.
- 1 John 3:8 – those who practice sin are of the devil.
- Matthew tells us to be aware of false prophets and tells us that we will know them by their fruits.
- We believe that the five-fold ministries gifts still exist today. But not as governing offices, only as supporting ministries that teach, train, prepare, and send.
Matthew 28:19-20 (NASB) Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
- Of all nations, – make disciples from all of the seventy distinct people groups who are ruled by the sons of God allotted to rule over them, teaching them that…
- Colossians 2:13-15 (NASB) And when you were dead in your wrongdoings and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our wrongdoings, 14 having canceled the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.
- Convert Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Pagans, etc., and then disciple them!
The only time you see seven hills (mountains) mentioned in the New Testament, the counterfeit church, the great whore Babylon, is sitting on top of them
Genesis 17:4-5 (NASB) “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, And you will be the father of a multitude of nations. 5 No longer shall you be named Abram, But your name shall be Abraham; For I have made you the father of a multitude of nations.
“A global recession of democracy is what happens when we fail to make disciples of the nations.” The collapse of democracies results in the collapse of economies.”
- Their hearts are continually revealed, as it always ends up about money.
Nations – doesn’t mean other countries. It is a general term that speaks to the fact that Jesus died for the Gentiles as well as the Jews. Specifically speaking, it is referencing a reversal of God’s divorcing all of mankind, except the Hebrew nation, dividing them into 70 nations, and allotting 70 heavenly princes over them.
Reference – Genesis 11, Psalms 82, Deuteronomy 32:8 (specifically the ESV), Daniel 10, and Ephesians 6. “The Unseen Realm” by Dr. Michael Heiser is a great resource to understand this better.
Revelation 17:9-13 (NASB) Here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains upon which the woman sits, 10 and they are seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while. 11 The beast which was, and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction. 12 The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour. 13 These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast.
Both the New Apostolic Reformation Movement and the Word of Faith Movement lean heavily into the idea of Christian Nationalism. Their understanding of the Kingdom of God is intensely tainted by materialism and a literal spirit of mammon.
Generationally speaking, this misconception stems from a doctrine known as the “Sethite View.”
The Sethite view is an interpretation of Genesis 6 that posits the “sons of God” were the righteous descendants of Seth, while the “daughters of man” were the descendants of Cain. According to this view, the intermarriage between these two lines led to increased wickedness on Earth and ultimately contributed to the Flood judgment. This perspective suggests that the unions corrupted the godly lineage of Seth and argues against the popular “angel” interpretation.
Genesis 6:1-4 (NASB) Now it came about, when mankind began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw that the daughters of mankind were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose. 3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not remain with man forever, because he is also flesh; nevertheless, his days shall be 120 years.” 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of mankind, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
Matthew 22:30 (NASB) For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.
- This passage does not necessarily negate the possibility that angels are capable of procreation, but just that they do not marry. To procreate physically, they had to possess human, male bodies.
2 Peter 2:4 (NASB) For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, held for judgment…
Jude 1:6 (NASB) And angels who did not keep their own domain but abandoned their proper dwelling place, these He has kept in eternal restraints under darkness for the judgment of the great day…
1 Peter 3:18-20 (NASB) For Christ also suffered for sins once for all time, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit; 19 in which He also went and made proclamation to the spirits in prison, 20 who once were disobedient when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water.
Matthew 7:21-23 (NASB) “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness.’
- Prophecy
- Deliverance
- Miracles
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 (NASB) Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, regarding the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, 2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit, or a message, or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3 No one is to deceive you in any way! For it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
(NKJV) Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
2 Corinthians 11:4 (NLT) You happily put up with whatever anyone tells you, even if they preach a different Jesus than the one we preach, or a different kind of Spirit than the one you received, or a different kind of gospel than the one you believed.
Galatians 1:8 (NASB) But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!
1 John 4:1-3 (NLT) But if someone claims to be a prophet and does not acknowledge the truth about Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here.
Revelation 2:18-23 (NKJV) The Corrupt and Compromised Church
18 “And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write, ‘These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:
19 “I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first.
- Ephesus was the unyielding, prideful, self-righteous church that departed from showing the least in society His love.
- Pergamum was the church that tolerated worldliness and allowed false teachers to deceive the local congregations, and this seemingly slight departure from the truth yielded great destruction.
- Thyatira was a loving, caring, working church. But, since they didn’t deal with sin and worldliness decisively, people were easily misled into false doctrine. They were not prideful, unrelenting, or self-righteous.
- Ephesus was strong in doctrine but lacked love. Thyatira was strong in love but weak in doctrine. They weren’t willing to disagree with anyone about doctrinal heresies.
- “It’s common for churches to be polarized in one of these two extremes. Either they will have full heads and empty hearts, or full hearts and empty minds. Either polarization is deadly. God demands both love and sound doctrine.”
Revelation 2:20-23 (NKJV) Nevertheless, I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
21 And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. 22 Indeed, I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. 23 I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.
- The church of Thyatira’s sin was a sin of compromise. A sin of mixing pagan culture with the worship of Yahweh. Jezebel enticed the Children of God to worship two principal deities, Baal and Asherah, and they went along with the apostasy in the hope of the prosperity they believed these Canaanite gods could bring them.
- Compromise for Peace – this was also Solomon’s sin. This was the sin of every King of Israel but two.
- Corruption – There were only two Kings of Judah who tore down all the altars (high places) of Baal and Asherah, Josiah and Hezekiah.
- Ruthless actions: The biblical narrative portrays her as a cruel and powerful figure who orchestrated the murder of Naboth to get his vineyard for King Ahab.
- Death: Her reign ended violently when she was overthrown by Jehu. Jehu commanded his soldiers to throw her from a window, and she was trampled by horses and consumed by dogs, fulfilling a prophecy against her.
- Consequences
- Symbolic legacy: Jezebel’s name has become a slur for women viewed as promiscuous and manipulative temptresses. She is also seen in the New Testament’s Book of Revelation as a symbolic figure of a false religious teacher who leads people astray.
The church of Thyatira represents the papal age, the age of the Roman Catholic Government. Papal is a Latin word meaning ‘papa,’ used in Catholicism to describe matters concerning the pope. In modern English vernacular, we would refer to the pope as the papa of Rome.
To see how this letter applies to us today, we need to examine the Roman Catholic EMPIRE, which is not a church. It is not a sect of the Christian Faith; it is one of, if not the most powerful and wealthiest, nations to have ever existed, and it doesn’t even have a physical military.
I assure you, Jezebel has everything to do with Catholicism!
All through the Old Testament, we see references to Israel and Judah’s idolatry, referred to as spiritual adultery. The false gods they worshipped are referred to as harlots and prostitutes.
Darkness attempts to steal what belongs to God, Jehovah, our true and undefiled worship.
Remember the subtle, wise, and clever approach of the enemy; the path to depravity is paved with small compromises.
Satan isn’t a red-faced mythological creature with a pitchfork and a tail, as most would like us to believe. He is Jehovah’s most splendid, beautiful, and powerful creature, and has been appearing with his prophets as angels of light for generations. Without the gift of discernment, brought to us by walking in the Spirit, we would all be deceived by his cleverly disguised church, and many are following him today, truly believing that they are following the Lord God Jehovah. He and his false doctrines and religions are slowly being exposed by preachers not afraid of offending the masses with the Truth of His Word.
MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
The Birth of the Roman Catholic Government
In the early 300s AD, there was an internal struggle within the Roman Empire. Several different military leaders and governors sought to become the Emperor. One such man, Constantine, would eventually consolidate the various factions and territories into a world power once again.
On the morning of October 28, 312, the forces of Constantine and Maxentius would face each other on the Milvian Bridge. Constantine would emerge the victor and, by 324, establish himself as the sole ruler of the Western Empire. Constantine recalled his vision on the night before the battle and remembered that he and his troops had seen a cross of light in the sky bearing the command ‘In this sign, you will conquer’.
But was this a sign from God or from Satan?
Most scholars hold Constantine in high regard concerning his actions after this period. However, let’s examine the history of the Roman Catholic Empire. We will clearly see that Constantine’s actions were motivated by his desire for power, which is always rooted in darkness, not in light.
I in no way believe that the vision witnessed by Constantine and his army was that of the Holy Spirit. I think that the spirit of the antichrist empowered it. Constantine’s actions corrupted the true Church, plunging the Body of Christ into the Dark Ages, in the absence of the Light and Fire of God the Holy Spirit.
His devotion remained to the sun god, Sol Invictus. He through the subtle and clever tactics of Satan through the power of the antichrist wrapped an idea of Christianity around pagan gods, and the Roman Catholic Empire was a new manifestation of the false religion that was started in the garden with the deception of Adam and Eve.
The Birth of Pagan Religions
To understand Jezebel and her gods, we need to go back in history and look at the birth of all pagan religions, demon worship.
Nimrod was a cursed descendant of Ham.
Genesis 10:8-12 (NASB) Now Cush fathered Nimrod; he became a mighty one on the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the Lord.” 10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. 11 From that land he went to Assyria, and built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah, 12 and Resen between Nineveh and Calah; that is the great city.
Nimrod, according to some scholars, married his actual mother, Semiramis, after his father passed away. Nimrod then passed away and became the first deified pagan god. Nimrod was referred to as the sun god and has been called by various names across generations, civilizations, and cultures.
- Ra, the Egyptian sun god
- Surya, the Hindu Sun God.
- Zeus & Apollo, Greek sun gods
- Sol Invictus, Constantine & his father’s sun god
- All these different names represent the same demon, principality, throughout the ages.
And so, Constantine, this former devotee of the sun god, Sol Invictus, attributed his victory to the God of the Christians, who had suffered appalling persecution at the hands of many of Constantine’s predecessors. In adopting Christianity, he gave it the legitimacy that would see it acquire the status of Rome’s state religion and change the course of Roman and European history and, consequently, that of the world.
Exodus 20:3-5 (NKJV) “You shall have no other gods before Me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,
Semiramis was also deified and had a common title and several different names through the ages: goddess or queen of heaven. Semiramis had Nimrod’s son, Tammuz, after his death. Legend says that Tammuz was torn into pieces by wild boars. Semiramis then took the pieces of his body and laid them by the river and mourned his death for 40 days. According to legend, Tammuz was resurrected at the end of 40 days.
Jezebel worshipped Baal, the god of the harvest (materialism and wealth), and Asherah, the goddess of fertility, who also had a son resurrected after 40 days. Asherah is also called the queen or goddess of heaven.
A man-made idol given to the government of the United States by the Freemasons in 1886. This idol of this goddess has had many names over the generations, but represents one single demonic entity, Semiramis. The goddess that represented the idol given to our country at the time was Libertas.
If you haven’t already figured it out, we are talking about the Statue of Liberty.
Semiramis also appears on the Air Force’s Medal of Honor.
What does this have to do with Jezebel and the Catholic government?
Facts about the Catholic Mary.
- She is also referred to as the queen of heaven.
- She is the queen of the realm of darkness. – Jeremiah 7:18
- Catholics pray to her as well as other saints.
- We have one advocate, Jesus Christ
- She is considered to be born sinless.
- Only Jesus was born sinless; Mary had to be saved just like the rest of mankind if she was going to make it to Heaven.
- She is referred to as the Mother of God
- God has always been! God is the creator of all! if this is true, He doesn’t have a mother.
- Jesus, the Son of Man, had a mother, but not the Son of God.
- She is referred to as a perpetual virgin
- Mary had other children
Throughout history, we see that some people have never understood that the Kingdom of God is not of this world; it is a Heavenly (Spiritual) Kingdom. The Roman Catholic Government, as well as the Church of the Middle Ages, attempted to convert other religions at the end of a spear. I think everyone understands that the Crusades weren’t directed by the God that we worship but by the god of this world, cleverly disguised as Christianity.
In 1964 and 1965, the Catholic church, by way of two separate Vatican Councils, affirmed that Islam was a legitimate religion to reconcile with God the Father.
The Vatican recently built a prayer room for Muslims.
The coming false prophet that will perform great signs and miracles in the last days, who will declare the beast as Jesus returning to earth. I confidently feel this false prophet will rise out of the evangelical church and have a strong relationship with the Catholic Empire.
Think back to the famous evangelical evangelist, Billy Graham. He stated that he felt that other religions, founded in demon worship according to 1 Corinthians 10:1-21, may make it to heaven. He committed and endorsed apostasy.
There is a sect, a large sect, that feels that God’s Kingdom by way of the Body of Christ will fix this world. It is known as the Seven Mountain Mandate, a doctrine promoted by the New Apostolic Reformation Movement.
We must accept that the United States was definitely founded on pagan principles and is ruled by darkness, so we will not be deceived at the arrival of the false prophet and the beast.
We also have to stop thinking of this world, especially our nation, in terms of red or blue, conservative or liberal, but in terms of good and evil, light and darkness, truth and lies. If the Bible is to be true, and I really think it is, all governments are ruled by the prince and the power of the air, the god of this world.
What we are witnessing is the separation of the wheat and the tares, the exposure of the Great Whore Babylon mentioned in Revelation 17.
Revelation 17:1-5 (NASB) Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed acts of sexual immorality, and those who live on the earth became drunk with the wine of her sexual immorality.” 3 And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of blasphemous names, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was clothed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold, precious stones, and pearls, holding in her hand a gold cup full of abominations and of the unclean things of her sexual immorality, 5 and on her forehead a name was written, a mystery: “BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
Christian Nationalism
Christian nationalism is a cultural framework that idealizes and advocates a fusion of Christianity with American civic life. Christian nationalism contends that America has been and should always be distinctively “Christian” from top to bottom – in its self-identity, interpretations of its own history, sacred symbols, cherished values, and public policies – and it aims to keep it that way.
- If you study the history of our country, you will see that we were never a Christian nation – we “WERE” a nation founded on Judeo-Christian values. We are a country based on an ancient Roman-Greek structure.
2 Corinthians 4:4 (NLT) Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
Ephesians 2:2 (NASB) in which you previously walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.
Matthew 4:8-9 (NASB) Again, the devil took Him along to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; 9 and he said to Him, “All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me.”
Thinking the Kingdom of God is Natural is and has always been the issue.
- The Kingdom of God is not of this world. A continual mistake of the American Christians is trying to make the Kingdom of God apply to the natural Government. Jesus addressed this over and over again.
- Judas had no intention of getting Jesus killed. He was trying to get Jesus arrested so Jesus would hurry the process along and re-establish the nation of Israel. Remember, Judas was the treasurer. His mind was set on the temporal things of the world; he wanted wealth & power, status & riches, and his heart for the natural left him open so satan could consume & control him, causing him to betray Jesus.
- It is the Love of this World and what the World has to offer that ALWAYS Leads to Darkness!
Colossians 3:1-2 (NASB) Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on the things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.
Jeremiah 14:14 (NASB) Then the Lord said to me, “The prophets are prophesying falsehood in My name. I have neither sent them nor commanded them, nor spoken to them; they are prophesying to you a false vision, divination, futility, and the deception of their own minds.
2nd Peter 2:1 (NASB) But false prophets also appeared among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.
Matthew 24:11-13, 24 (ESV) And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. 12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved. 24 For false christ’s and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
- A false christ is anyone who says that they can save a group of people.
1 Timothy 4:1 (NLT) Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times, some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons.

- Joel Osteen
- TD Jakes
- Billy Graham
- All of these and many more have fallen into the deception of the enemy, and now are preaching doctrines of demons.
Hosea 4:6 (NLT) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.
Briefly describe the following views of eschatology….
Premillennialism
- Premillennialism is a Christian belief that Jesus Christ will return to Earth to establish a literal 1,000-year reign after a period of tribulation. This future reign is the “millennium,” and it comes before (pre) the final eternal state of heaven and hell. During this period, Christ will reign on Earth, often believed to be from Jerusalem, with saints who are resurrected for this purpose.
Post-Millennialism
- Postmillennialism is a Christian theological belief that Christ’s second coming will occur after a period called the millennium, during which the world will gradually improve as the gospel is increasingly spread, and the world becomes more Christianized. This optimistic view holds that the Kingdom of God is extended through the preaching of the gospel and the work of the Holy Spirit, leading to an era of righteousness and peace before Christ’s physical return to end history.
- Kingdom Now theology is a belief system that states Christians are currently called to establish God’s kingdom on Earth by taking dominion over cultural institutions like government, education, and media, before Christ’s second coming. This contrasts with traditional views that see the kingdom as a future reality, and its proponents interpret biblical commands like the “dominion mandate” in Genesis 1:28 as a present-day commission for societal transformation.
“A” Millennialism
- Amillennial theology is a Christian eschatological view that holds the millennium, or “thousand-year reign,” mentioned in Revelation 20 is not a future literal earthly reign, but a symbolic present spiritual reign of Christ that began at his first coming and will continue until his second coming. In this view, Jesus reigns from heaven, and prophecies of a kingdom are fulfilled in the church or in the life to come, rather than a future earthly kingdom. This perspective culminates in a single event at Christ’s return: the final resurrection, judgment, and the inauguration of the new heavens and new earth, with no intermediate thousand-year reign.
Eschatology
Post-Millennialism
- No rapture or that the rapture and second coming are the same event.
- Postmillennialism holds that Jesus Christ establishes His kingdom on earth through His preaching and redemptive work in the first century and that He equips His Church with the gospel, empowers Her by the Spirit, and charges Her with the Great Commission (Matt 28:19) to disciple all nations.
- Nations – (ethnos) This is where we get the word ethnic, most commonly interpreted as “Gentiles.”
- Postmillennialism expects that eventually, the vast majority of people living will be saved.
- They seem to ignore the narrow gate and broad gate Jesus spoke of in the gospels.
- Increasing gospel success will gradually produce a time in history prior to Christ’s return in which faith, righteousness, peace, and prosperity will prevail in the affairs of men and of nations. After an extensive era of such conditions, Jesus Christ will return visibly, bodily, and gloriously to end history with the general resurrection and the final judgment, after which the eternal order follows.
- This idea seems to disregard Matthew 24.
- Rev 19:11-16, Luke 12:49, Rev 21:1, and many, many, many more.
- The New Apostolic Reformation Movement believes that the Church, under the leadership of the restored offices of the Apostles and Prophets, will infiltrate the 7 pillars of society and prepare the world for the second-coming of Jesus.
- Most of the so-called prophets that falsely prophesied Trump’s landside win, and second term follow this line of thought.
- Theocracy – Not to be confused with theocratic government but rather the goal to have “kingdom-minded people” in all areas of society.
- There are seven areas identified specifically: religion, family, education, government, media, arts & entertainment, and business. This is what they refer to as the “Seven Mountain Mandate.”
I believe that these churches, Bethel, Hillsong, the Catholic Empire, and many Word of Faith Churches, are part of “The Falling Away” spoken of in 2nd Thessalonians 2:3.
The Last Days False Prophet, part of the unholy trinity, will arise out of this charismatic movement that partners with the Roman Catholic Empire!
When we open the door to the heresy of scripture, all kinds of heresies come in.
This is just one example of what can come from small compromises. The writer of the Passion Translation, Brian Simmons, has stated that the Bible is incomplete, and he has received some additional information concerning the Gospel according to John.
He states that he was taken to heaven, and one of the many things that he witnessed was St. John chapter 22. The Gospel of John ends in chapter 21.
All through scripture, we see warnings against adding to or taking away anything from scripture.
Mr. Simmons also states that we have the return of Jesus wrong, that Jesus is coming back through us. Through Us? This corresponds with the Word of Faith’s doctrine that we are all gods and with the NAR’s idea that Jesus was just a common man, not divine, while He was alive here on earth.
The Passion Translation is praised by the likes of Bill Johnson and other leaders of the New Apostolic Reformation.
The Foundation that our Faith is built on is critical if we intend to stand against the powerful deception of the antichrist in the last days.
Two Movements we speak of frequently as we discuss the topic of “Many False Preachers” in the last days are the NAR and the Word of Faith Crowd. It’s important to note that all of the false prophets exposed after the election were part of these groups.
How to spot a False Church
-
- Discount the deity of Christ.
- You have to pay attention more to what they do not say.
- Sin, hell, and repentance aren’t common subjects preached.
- Emphasis on this world, materialism – “the spirit of mammon.”
- Emphasis on social issues without the gospel.
- Tolerant, passive on issues that will be offensive, homosexuality.
- They avoid the sins of the last days, fornication and sorcery.
- Music promotes fornication, homosexuality, and the LBGTQ+ crowd.
- TV, Movies, etc. promote Sorcery.
- They preach on the counterfeit Jesus, the Superman Jesus, the Thor Jesus, the Marvel Comic Jesus, one that is a part of the solution, one of many ways to reconcile with God, but not the Way, the Truth & the Life.
- Discount the deity of Christ.
Here are a few heretical quotes from a few of the main congregations that make up the Laodicean church today.
his first quote is from the most prominent figure in the New Apostolic Reformation, and the second is from the most prominent figure in the Word of Faith, Prosperity Gospel Movement.
Bill Johnson, pastor and apostle of Bethel Church which is part of the New Apostolic Reformation.
Kenosis Heresy
- “Jesus had no ability to heal the sick. He couldn’t cast out devils, and He had no ability to raise the dead. He said of Himself in John 5:19, “The Son can do nothing of Himself.” He had set aside His divinity.”
Jesus is not God (Denial of the Hypostatic Union)
- “He performed miracles, wonders, and signs as a man in right relationship to God…not as God. If He performed miracles because He was God, then they would be unattainable for us.”
Kenneth Copeland is the most prominent figure in the Word of Faith and Prosperity Gospel Movement.
Associated Ministries, Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyers, TD Jakes, Paula White
Satan conquered Jesus.
- “Satan conquered Jesus on the Cross and took His spirit to the dark regions of hell.”
God is the biggest failure in the Bible.
- “I was shocked when I found out who the biggest failure in the Bible actually is. … The biggest one is God. … I mean, He lost His top-ranking, most anointed angel; the first man He ever created; the first woman He ever created; the whole earth and all the Fullness therein; a third of the angels, at least—that’s a big loss, man … Now, the reason you don’t think of God as a failure is He never said He’s a failure. And you’re not a failure till you say you’re one.”
Ye shall be as gods.
- “You don’t have a God in you; you are one,”
- “When I read in the Bible where He says I AM, I just smile and say, ‘Yes, I AM too.'”
- “You are not a spiritual schizophrenic — half-God and half-Satan — you are all-God.”
God wasn’t His Father anymore?
- “How did Jesus then on the cross say, ‘My God.’ Because God was not His Father any more. He took upon Himself the nature of Satan. And I’m telling you, Jesus is in the middle of that pit. He’s suffering all that there is to suffer; there is no suffering left . . . apart from Him. His emaciated, little wormy spirit is down in the bottom of that thing, and the devil thinks He’s got Him destroyed. But all of a sudden, God started talking.”
This is referred to as the Seven Mountain Mandate.
The Seven Mountain Mandate (7-M) is also called the Seven Mountain Prophecy. It deals with the mandate to Christians to take dominion over the so-called seven spheres of influence in our modern times. Each of these spheres is referred to as a mountain, and many who claim to be modern apostles and prophets have been prophesying that Christianity will conquer these ‘mountains’ before Jesus returns to earth. Different ‘prophets’ have slightly different divisions of the 7 mountains. It was begun by the co-work of Loren Cunnihman and Bill Bright. I tried to find their respective 7 categories and, along with the book The Seven Mountain Prophecy by Johnny Enlow, I produced the following table.
According to Johnny Enlow, each mountain currently has a demonic force attached to it. He says that there are demonic principalities presently ruling each of these secular spheres. These demonic forces need to be vanquished. In addition, he says the seven spheres of influence correspond to the seven nations of Deuteronomy 7:1.
The Seven Mountain Mandate (7-M), which is supported and taught in the New Apostolic Reformation movement, is based primarily on two verses in the Bible: Gen. 1:28 and Isaiah 2:2-3
- “God blessed them; and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth,’” (Genesis 1:28).
- “Now it will come about that In the last days the mountain of the house of the LORD Will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; and all the nations will stream to it. 3 And many peoples will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, To the house of the God of Jacob; That He may teach us concerning His ways And that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go forth from Zion And the word of the LORD from Jerusalem” (Isaiah 2:2-3) For more scriptures related to this see (Micah 4:1-2).
Genesis 1:28 is commonly referred to as the Dominion Mandate where God has instructed Adam to subdue the earth. It is the summation of the creation account in which Adam (mankind) receives the instruction on what to do. This reflects the creative and sovereign nature of God that is shown in human nature (We are made in God’s image, Gen. 1:26). As part of this, Christians are to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20), which encompasses all areas of life.
Isaiah 2:2-3 speaks of the “last days.” This is eschatological since the couplet ‘last days’ is also mentioned in Acts 2:17, a period of time we have been in for approximately 2000 years. The interpretation of the Scripture and its fulfillment in the New Testament’s ‘Last Days” is varied. Interpretations range from literal governmental organizations to all people groups.
Conclusion
The Seven Mountain mandate is a hyperfocus on Christian dominion theology that does not seem to make Christ’s atoning sacrifice a central theme. In all of my research on it so far, making disciples of unbelievers is not the central issue. Instead, it’s taking dominion. This concerns me since it could be a strategy used by the devil to take the focus off of Christ and put it on Christian work in the battle to dominate the world. In this, we need to be very careful.
- The issue has always been that some cannot comprehend that the Kingdom of God is not of this world! The basis of this and many similar heretical doctrines is a Love for Material things. The principles are mostly correct, the way they apply the scriptures is simply wrong, and their delusions are based on their greed.
- We engage the enemy by winning souls, teaching them their identity “In Christ”, helping them discover their gifts, their calling, and that purpose, and putting them where they belong in the Body of Christ.
- Another huge issue with this teaching, as well as many that are run in these circles, is the idea of an apostolic dominance over specific regions. It teaches that the person engaging in the courts of heaven must align themselves with the apostolic authority of the region, much like the teachings of strategic spiritual warfare.
Billy Graham’s rejection of the Gospel and his relationship with the Roman Catholic Government.
Billy Graham Denies the True Gospel Interviewed by Robert Schuller on Hour of Power Billy Graham on the ‘Hour of Power’ show saying that people can get to Heaven another way besides through hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and then repenting and believing the Gospel.
He basically says that ‘good’ and ‘sincere’ people who know nothing about Christ are on their way to Heaven.
Here is the content of the transcript: Dr. Schuller: “Tell me, what is the future of Christianity?” Dr. Graham: “Well, Christianity and being a true believer, you know, I think there’s the body of Christ which comes from all the Christian groups around the world, or outside the Christian groups. I think that everybody that loves Christ or knows Christ, whether they’re conscious of it or not, they’re members of the body of Christ. And I don’t think that we’re going to see a great sweeping revival that will turn the whole world to Christ at any time. What God is doing today is calling people out of the world for His name. Whether they come from the Muslim world, or the Buddhist world, or the Christian world, or the non-believing world, they are members of the body of Christ because they’ve been called by God. They may not even know the name of Jesus, but they know in their hearts they need something that they don’t have, and they turn to the only light they have, and I think they’re saved, and they’re going to be with us in heaven.”
Dr. Schuller: “What I hear you saying is that it’s possible for Jesus Christ to come into a human heart and soul and life even if they’ve been born in darkness and have never had exposure to the Bible. Is that a correct interpretation of what you’re saying?” Dr. Graham: “Yes it is because I believe that. I’ve met people in various parts of the world in tribal situations that they have never seen a Bible or heard about a Bible, have never heard of Jesus but they’ve believed in their hearts that there is a God and they tried to live a life that was quite apart from the surrounding community in which they lived.”
Dr. Schuller: “This is fantastic. I’m so thrilled to hear you say that. There’s a wideness in God’s mercy.”
Dr. Graham: “There is. There definitely is.”
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 (ESV) Therefore, God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
- The strong delusion will be obvious for those who are truly spiritual, but for those who are lukewarm, they will be easily deceived.
- It will be a woke, progressive all-inclusive false form of Christianity.
The fallen away, as mentioned in 2 Thessalonians, is when a person rejects their salvation by accepting the false doctrine that there are other ways than Jesus to reconcile with God.
1 John 4:1-3 (NLT) Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. 2 This is how we know if they have the Spirit of God: If a person claiming to be a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ came in a real body, that person has the Spirit of God. 3 But if someone claims to be a prophet and DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE the TRUTH about JESUS, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard is coming into the world and indeed is already here.
- Jesus is the Son of God.
- He is all Human and all God.
- He is the only way, the only truth, and the only life.
- That, through Christ and Christ alone, a person can be reconciled to the Lord.
- Less than 10% of sermons preached in Evangelical churches even mentioned Hell, Sin, Salvation, or Heaven.
- As many as 9 out of 10 Christians believe that there are other ways to get to heaven: Buddhism, Islam, Catholicism, Hinduism, etc.
Many Christians attending church this morning have already accepted this blasphemy, as pastors and evangelists such as Billy Graham, as well as pastor Joel Osteen, have proclaimed that good Buddhists, Hindus, and Muslims can get to heaven by following the tenets of their religion. This false gospel, this doctrine of demons, is one of the prominent signs of the point to the soon rapture.
